Bromosilicane, SiH₃Br

Bromosilicane, SiH₃Br, boiling at 30°-40° C., and Dibromosilicane, SiH₂Br₂, boiling at 75° C., are liquids produced together with silico-bromoform when hydrogen bromide acts on silicon. They are the sole representatives of their class, and little is known about them.
